The RQ145/SET solenoid valve is normally closed (NC) and opens upon energizing the coil, allowing gas flow. When the power supply is interrupted, the valve closes, stopping the gas flow. Power interruptions can occur due to the activation of a pressure switch, thermostat, or other controls. The valve can also be equipped with a Status Indicator Switch (SOV) to detect its position (open or closed).
